Dirty talk w/ Niles
Their arrangement was something Xander had mostly just fallen into- which was already a sign that he needed it. He never 'fell' into anything. He was the Crown Prince, and now the King, too much rode on him making every choice with the utmost care, and not based on his gut. But the more that was on his shoulders the sloppier he got. Before he only had to worry about his family and following Garon's orders with as much of his soul intact as possible.
Now the whole world was opened to him, and the world was too big.
So what started as a passing comment from Niles ended up this whole big THING. This stress relief. And Niles was VERY good at what he did. Soon Xander was practically addicted to his ministrations, and they helped keep his head clear when he needed all his wits about him. Eventually he would have to find a wife and start a family for the continuation of the bloodline. But for now getting Nohr back on it's feet was more pressing then his romantic life.
Still, for all the times they had been together, it was rather... straight forward. Xander was no virgin, but his experiences were as bland as oatmeal, and he was content to keep them that way- he just never had time to think of anything more interesting.
But Niles, Niles was anything but bland. Which Xander was quickly learning as he stared the retainer down in some dark passageway or another.
"Would you care to repeat that, Niles?"

This time he addresses the King with his proper title, but his tone is far from subservient. He has no qualms whatsoever with being Xander's 'lady of the night', but his defiance here isn't about any kind of reluctance. In all honesty, it's him taking his job seriously. Xander wanted, no needed, to relax, and while the physical release of sex was a good start, Niles knows he could do better.
"You're so direct, so forceful, in all else, but when it comes to what you want from me, you dance around it. You speak in clipped, timid phrases. It doesn't suit you."
