[Everything was going to be better now.

They had defeated the ones that had ruined their lives, those trapped in the simulation were freed. Somee were going to go home. Some had new homes. Some were still figuring that out. And that was fine- they had time and the entire universe available.

Takumi was quiet.

Everything was fine, surely. It just took some getting used to, being back in a real body again. The PIPs were off, so while he was less powered then some, having his dragon blood freed was something to readapt to.

But with the PIP gone, something else came back. The headache that made his eyes pulse and his ears scream. He had excused himself from Finn some time ago, heading towards the storage where their gear was held. Likely he was eager to have his bow back.

Xander had followed shortly after, saying that... well, if they were both to go home even just to visit, it was best they clear the air between them.

It's been a long time. Neither has come back.]

[It's hard to tell what Mai's thinking at any given time. She stands up all of a sudden, and without explanation, she stalks towards the storage.

Probably just misses her sword or something.]

[ Clarith is a peacekeeper. She'd been nervous about it to begin with, but now... She gets up, and goes to check. ]

Takumi? Xander? Is everything all right?

[Finn's totally not worried. At all. He just wants to see if his blaster or something ended up in storage.]

[He might be a little worried. Whether more for Takumi or the Nohrian Scum, he's not sure.]

[Its closed, and Takumi's voice can be heard, muffled through the door]

[Mai pulls the door handle with a frown.]

[ It's weird. He's a lot softer. But even he knows that something is wrong. He'll excuse himself from where he's sitting with Angelica, talking the logistics of souls, and then go check on this. He knows leaving two former enemies that may not be okay with each other is dumb. So he goes to check, knocking on the door before opening it. ]

[The door opens and at first nothing seems wrong. Takumi is leaning on the far wall, holding his head with one hand, the other holding a beautiful silver bow, teeth bared. On the floor is a familiar dark blade, still in it's sheath.

[Takumi laughs weakly, and there's something there Finn would recognize. In fact, he's one if the few here that would.

[Mai looks around, and in a split second, she grabs the nearest item on the shelf. A plastic sword with a chip on the end. Doesn't matter.]

[Its easy to smell the blood in the air, and see it on the floor. Xander is slumped against the wall, a wound in his side and Seigbert still sheathed.

He never even saw the attack coming.

Takumi is staring at him, a silver bow, string-less, in his hands and his eyes bloodshot and wide]

[Mai's expression hardens. She looks back at Takumi, staring into him.]

[he can't see the entire room, but what he can is enough. Takumi pacing about, leaving bloody footprints in his wake, a string-less bow in his hands.

What's blocking the door, though he can't see it fully, seems to be a body.]

Go away... damn it, you're going to ruin it!

[ Blood takes her back. So many horrendous memories. She takes a shaky breath, but she steps forward, slowly. ]
