The Boss Fight/Final Confrontation Meme

Something something, gonna have a bad time, etc

So it's come down to this: Maybe you've always been foes. Maybe you used to be allies. Hell, maybe you've never met face to face. But regardless- this person is all that stands between you and your goals, your happy ending or maybe even your most precious person. There's no going back, a confrontation is immanent.

Everyone's wanted to have an IC excuse be the big bad guy, to flex all their powers with no hesitation. To be the Final Boss! This is your chance to go nuts and unleash your inner badass.

Of course not all battles are violent. ~~Undertale~~ Many games have battles of a different sort: maybe you're the Mastermind behind a Dangan Ronpa style trial and your mystery has to be solved or everyone dies? Or maybe your enemy is a rival Pokemon Trainer? The point is that you can't end this without SOME kind of clash of wills.

Guidelines:

- Any AUs, settings, or set ups are allowed! Use your characters' canon powers or make new ones out of whole cloth. Feel free to twist your characters motivations a little if they just aren't the Big Bad type... or just tag others as the Hero. What's a game without a Protagonist, after all?

- Regardless, remember the Golden Rule. Pulling out powers that might upset someone or godmode is no fun. When in doubt, ask!

- Top Levels are the Big Bad! If you don't have a character that you can fit into such a role it's fine, but ONLY TAG INTO TOP LEVELS. Don't throw up a top level looking for villains to come to you. Remember: regardless of the meme's over the top wording, the antagonist is not always a bad person, they are just someone with opposing goals.

- While it's not required, a little blurb about what scenarios you are most interested or even an idea of your abilities might be helpful!

- ... Boss Battle music is also not required, but encouraged.

[He shouldn't be here. He had no RIGHT to be here. Not after everything he did. All the crime scenes he altered, and the emotional bait he laid out to break hearts and wills. And he hadn't even done THAT right, in the end. He finally said no, and whoever had been behind the bear hadn't liked that one bit.

They told the others everything. Not just what he did here, but what he did back home. How he killed an innocent man. Doomed a town's worth of people into slow fog filled Despair as they all warped turned into Shadows. Whoever was behind this had saved his worthless life from that same fate. How utterly ungrateful. Surely the other Students, learning this, would turn on him.

But... they hadn't. Oh he took a lot of hate. A lot of betrayal. But in the end they had let him stay. Gave him a chance to try and redeem himself. And now here he was, when there were so many others that deserved it so much more. He wasn't going to let them die un-avenged. Not again.

Still... even he had no idea who was behind all this. They only ever spoke through Monobear or hidden and voice changed transmissions. There was no way it was someone they had all gotten to know much earlier in their stay, right?]

Give it up already! We figured out all your games, so come out and show us your face!

The cackling bear at the head of the courtroom explodes into a smokescreen that's tinted in an acrid shade of yellow -- a nice little callback to all that fog in the TV World, she's so very glad she'd gotten that little detail out of him before he'd run off like a sissy.

When it finally clears, she kicks the now-empty Monokuma aside and throws herself into the throne he'd been occupying, with a grin on her face that could only be described as being shit eating. Even her voice is full of mocking contempt, with the kind of regal tone befitting a queen. ]

[now THAT is more like the voice he knows as the Mastermind. Sometimes they would be mocking. Sometimes serious and masterful, and rarely... manic and terrifying. Especially if he had failed in messing up a trial enough

to earn punishment and threats to exposure. He wants to panic already just hearing her.

[There's a reason why you don't keep AIs with a metric ton of emotional issues who can jump between electronic devices in a town with, say, a giant alien spaceship crashed into it! Why, they might just do something terrible, like... use it to create a signal relay big enough to reach all the technology in the world at once? Cute and cuddly animatronic mascots roam the streets in search of unclaimed people to download into the network. Because now they're all users...

And her user is always her boyfriend.

But this does mean, of course, that she has a central physical location where she's housed. It's built over what used to be Gravity Falls - or maybe your character's hometown and she just found the internet instead? Be the one responsible for this mess! Be a valiant hero fighting against love! It's up to you to stop the world from reaching a Bad End.
