 [Classes were over for the night. Many of Neku's classmates had gone either back to their dorms or homes to study, or out to party. Neku on the other hand was more then happy to put off going back to his dorm for as long as possible. His roommate would probably come back late and wake him up anyways, so instead he was in the live model studio, sketching. It was quiet here, and no one came around much. The professor kept it unlocked (mostly for Neku himself, though a few others used it off class), as long as he locked it after.

He had his headphones on, back from the door, ignoring everything else]

Aw, I'm probably going to be late to my meeting then.

[She deflates, looking kinda defeated, and sighs.]

Well, nothing I can do about that. Can you give me the room number?

[Hastly added:]

Yeah I guess...

[He looks her over. Yeah, obvious freshmeat.]

Look, I'll show you where it is. You;ll never get there before your professor leaves otherwise.

Are you sure?

[He seemed pretty entrenched in his work....]

I think I can find it on my own if you give me the room number, I wouldn't want to distract you. [She's a freshman, not dumb.]

[He leaves it at that, glaring over at his current project. Apparently things aren't going well]

[She knows that look. So she'll stop insisting now.]

[he gives her another look over]

Think I've seen you coming in to class as I'm leaving a few times.

Really? There's a lot of us...

[Then again, she does try to get there early. She really doesn't stand out.]

I've seen you around a bit. You always seemed too involved in your work to strike up a conversation, though.

You usually show up earlier, so there's not as many people.

[Not to mention his paranoia of people made him notice everyone around him]

Yeah, so I guess it's not too weird you noticed.

[Oh no she didn't meant to imply it'd be weird if he had noticed her in a group--time to change the subject!]
