Rules:

-Post your character's name and their canon in the subject line.

-Though in the games you are restricted to certain Pokémon (and their first forms only) to start, in this meme you can be any Pokémon you choose. Make sure you mention what Pokemon they are in your top level, and feel free to elaborate on their appearance or even occupation if you choose!

-This meme takes place majorly in the areas featured in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, but I'm also including features and locations from previous games as well! (I miss Kangaskhan Storage okay don't look at me).

-In Gates to Infinity, a special feature of your Pokémon Paradise is the inclusion of traveling sales 'mon! These Pokemon run their own businesses and provide services that can be useful to adventurers. Feel free to have your character as a proprietor of their own shop or business- Post Town could use more variety, after all!

Starting prompts

1) Welcome to the World of Pokémon!: You've just woken up and your head aches...you're in the forest somewhere, washed up at the beach, or maybe someone's brought you to their home after finding you comatose somewhere. When you finally come to, you notice you're feeling very oddly, and should you decide to find a puddle or a mirror to check yourself...well, surprise! You're a Pokémon now! ....what? What do you mean you used to be human?

2) Exploring the town: Whether you're non-native or you've lived here all your life, there's plenty in Post Town to check out. Maybe you need to stock up on supplies for at the Kecleon's shop or exchange some of your hard-earned gold for items and other goodies at Cofagrigus' Glorious Gold! Perhaps you found some mysterious chests you'd like Rampardos to break open for you? And once you're done there, you can store your spare items at Kangaskhan Storage for safe keeping, or your money at Persian's Bank. There's also Swanna's Inn and Café for you and your partners to visit after a long day of adventuring.

3) On a mission: Azumarill is up to her ears in requests for help today! Whether it's a Pokemon trapped in a dungeon in need of rescue, a lost item that needs to be found, or a group of rogue Pokemon that need stopping, these Pokemon could use all the help they can get!

If you're having trouble coming up with a situation to play out, I've also come up with some starting scenario prompts to choose from!

Scenario Prompts:

1) Stargazing: You and your partner have been through a lot. It's been a long, hard week of adventuring, and this evening you both finally have the chance to rest from it all. According to Umbreon and Espeon, there's going to be a meteor shower tonight, one that occurs only once every one hundred years. It just so happens that your base is located in the perfect spot to watch them, so why not take advantage of the opportunity?

2) The Pecha Festival: Post Town holds an annual festival that celebrates the Pecha Berry, a versatile and extremely sweet fruit that not only cures poisoning, but is very healthy and delicious! Ms. Swanna has prepared dozens of dishes featuring this berry that will be sold throughout the town, and you might notice that just everyone has decorated their shops in some fashion for the festivities. The Request Boards are closed today (barring emergencies, of course) so kick back and have some fun!

3) Critical Hit!: You and your partner have been adventuring, and something's gone really bad in a hurry. Maybe you two have been cornered by some tough Pokemon you can't get past, or one of you has been seriously injured. Either way, things are looking dire, and you need to get out of there. Fast.

4) I don't want to say goodbye: Your partner used to be human, but now their time in this world is up. They're leaving, and there's nothing that either of you can do about it. You have just a short while before they disappear, so make it count.

5) Make your own!: Come up with your own scenario!

The Boss Fight/Final Confrontation Meme




Something something, gonna have a bad time, etc


So it's come down to this: Maybe you've always been foes. Maybe you used to be allies. Hell, maybe you've never met face to face. But regardless- this person is all that stands between you and your goals, your happy ending or maybe even your most precious person. There's no going back, a confrontation is immanent.

Everyone's wanted to have an IC excuse be the big bad guy, to flex all their powers with no hesitation. To be the Final Boss! This is your chance to go nuts and unleash your inner badass.

Of course not all battles are violent. Undertale Many games have battles of a different sort: maybe you're the Mastermind behind a Dangan Ronpa style trial and your mystery has to be solved or everyone dies? Or maybe your enemy is a rival Pokemon Trainer? The point is that you can't end this without SOME kind of clash of wills.

Guidelines:

- Any AUs, settings, or set ups are allowed! Use your characters' canon powers or make new ones out of whole cloth. Feel free to twist your characters motivations a little if they just aren't the Big Bad type... or just tag others as the Hero. What's a game without a Protagonist, after all?

- Regardless, remember the Golden Rule. Pulling out powers that might upset someone or godmode is no fun. When in doubt, ask!

- Top Levels are the Big Bad! If you don't have a character that you can fit into such a role it's fine, but ONLY TAG INTO TOP LEVELS. Don't throw up a top level looking for villains to come to you. Remember: regardless of the meme's over the top wording, the antagonist is not always a bad person, they are just someone with opposing goals.

- While it's not required, a little blurb about what scenarios you are most interested or even an idea of your abilities might be helpful!

- ... Boss Battle music is also not required, but encouraged.

General catch all for casual NSFW threading with my cast! A few rules and notes:

I have a few characters I don't smut with. Largely just my lower end underage characters (Dark Pit and Masaru, mostly). But if you ever wanna thread shippy stuff with them just PM or plurk me and we can plot something!

Odds are there will be some kinks tossed around here, so please make sure to mark threads with content warnings just to be safe. But since this IS a smut post please be aware of what to expect.

This post is also for general plotting. if you don't feel comfy threading smut on an open post we can just plot here and I will set up a closed post for us!
